An American favorite…Cajun style! Ramp up your classic meat blend with a little Louisiana Fish Fry Seafood Sauce and a few shakes of our Cajun Seasoning blend for a Louisiana twist. Pairs great with our Spicy Cajun Green Beans and Out-of-Mayo Potato Salad.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup Louisiana Cajun Seasoning
- 1/2 cup Louisiana Seafood Sauce
- 2 lbs. ground beef
- 1 lb. Italian sausage
- 2 raw eggs
- 1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
- 1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1/3 cup onions, chopped
- 1/3 cup bell pepper, chopped
- parsley flakes to taste
PREPARATION
Preheat oven to 350° F. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients and mix by hand until evenly distributed. Shape into a loaf approximately 13×9 inches and place in a roasting pan. Sprinkle parsley on top. Bake uncovered 1 hour or until internal temperature reaches at least 165° F. Slice and serve. Great with mashed potatoes and green beans on the side.
