  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and lightly coat with oil. Add sliced sausage and cook until browned. Transfer sausage to the slow cooker.
  2. Add water or stock, Jambalaya Seasoning Mix, uncooked rice, and shredded or chopped rotisserie chicken to the slow cooker. Stir well to evenly distribute rice and seasoning.
  3. Cover and cook on LOW for 3–4 hours or HIGH for 1½–2 hours, stirring once or twice if possible to prevent sticking.
  4. Once rice is tender and liquid is absorbed, turn off heat and let stand, covered, for 10 minutes.
    Fluff with a fork, ensure chicken is heated to 165°F, and enjoy!
