Cajun Night Étouffée: Louisiana x Trombone Shorty

Ingredients
- 1 Package Louisiana Fish Fry Etouffee Base 2.5 oz
- 5 Tbsp butter
- 2 cups water
- 1 pound uncooked, peeled shrimp
- Cooked rice, for serving

Melt 5 Tbsp. of butter in a 4 qt. saucepan over low heat. Add Louisiana Fish Fry Étouffée Base and stir until the mixture reaches a medium-brown color.

Stir in 2 cups of water and 1 lb. of uncooked, peeled shrimp (or 1 lb. of cooked, peeled crawfish if preferred).

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Ensure shrimp is fully cooked (to 145°F). Serve over cooked rice and enjoy!
