Louisiana is known for its fresh seafood and bold flavors, and our Shrimp Creole Base brings them together flawlessly. Just add shrimp, butter and tomato sauce to create this delectable Creole restaurant favorite at home!

Ingredients

  • Louisiana Fish Fry's New Orleans-Style Shrimp Creole Base
  • 5 tbsp of melted butter
  • 2 cups of water
  • 8 oz can of tomato sauce
  • 1 lb peeled uncooked shrimp

    PREPARATION

    In a 4 qt. saucepan, melt 5 tbsp. of butter with New Orleans Style Shrimp Creole Base. Stir over low heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Add 2 cups of cold water and an 8 oz. can of tomato sauce. Stir over low heat and simmer for an additional 15 minutes. Add 1 lb. of peeled, uncooked shrimp to the base and cook on low heat for 15 additional minutes or until the seafood is thoroughly cooked to 145° F. Serve over cooked rice. Enjoy!
