A new twist on this Louisiana classic! Top your po’boy with our flavor-packed Tartar Sauce for a perfectly balanced bite of sweet shrimp, ripe tomato, and shredded lettuce.

Ingredients

  • Louisiana Fish Fry Products Tartar Sauce, 10.5 oz bottle
  • Louisiana Fish Fry Products Air Fryer Fish Seasoned Coating Mix, 5 oz box
  • 2 lbs peeled and deveined raw shrimp, tails off
  • Ice water
  • French bread, cut into 6 in. portions and cut in half lengthwise
  • Lettuce
  • Tomatoes, sliced
  • Pickles, sliced coins

    PREPARATION

    Moisten up to 2 pounds of shrimp thoroughly in ice cold water. Coat shrimp completely in Louisiana Fish Fry Air Fryer Fish Seasoned Coating Mix. Shake off excess and place shrimp in an air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry at 375 for 10-15 minutes. Flip shrimp halfway through the cooking time. Shrimp should be golden brown and have an internal temperature of 145. Add shrimp to French bread while hot. Add Tartar Sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles to taste.

    To reheat your fried foods, let them come up to room temperature and then bake briefly in a 400-degree oven. Use a wire rack atop a baking sheet to keep too much steam from making things soggy.
