Recipe

Looking for a healthier french fry alternative? Or a clever scheme to get the kids to eat their veggies? Swap out the traditional taters for zucchini and dress it up with our Air Fryer batter (and trade your everyday ketchup for our zesty remoulade)! This recipe comes to us from Kristin from Louisiana Fish Fry’s sales department.

Ingredients

  • 1 box Louisiana Fish Fry Air Fryer Chicken Coating Mix
  • 1 egg
  • 1 large zucchini
  • 1 bottle of Louisiana Fish Fry Remoulade Sauce, as an accompaniment

    PREPARATION

Slice the zucchini into strips. Dip the zucchini in the egg wash, then dredge in Air Fryer Chicken Coating Mix. Cook at 370°F in your air fryer for 10-12 minutes (time/temperature may vary slightly depending on air fryer make and model). Serve with Remoulade Sauce for dipping.

    PRO TIPS

    Reheat Fried Foods

To reheat your fried foods, let them come up to room temperature and then bake briefly in a 400-degree oven. Use a wire rack atop a baking sheet to keep too much steam from making things soggy.
