Make your next Cajun holiday feast unforgettable with our classic fried turkey recipe. Our handy Injectable Marinade and bold Cajun Seasoning blend deliver flavor in every bite. Happy holidays, y’all!

Ingredients

  • Louisiana Fish Fry Products Cajun Butter Injectable Marinade
  • Louisiana Fish Fry Products Cajun Seasoning
  • 1 whole turkey, thawed
  • 3-4 gallons of peanut oil for frying

Directions

  1. Heat oil to reach 300°F. While oil is heating, remove giblets and rinse turkey in warm water. Drain turkey well on paper towels. 
  2. Shake marinade well and pour in to separate container to avoid contamination. Inject 2 fl. oz. into the following locations: 1 each in legs, 1 each in thighs, 4 in breast.
  3. Sprinkle the inside and outside of the turkey generously with Cajun Seasoning. Deep fry turkey at 300°F for 4 minutes per pound. Carefully remove the turkey from the pot and drain well.
