Enjoy delicious, savory oysters right from your air fryer.

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup Louisiana Fish Fry Products Air Fryer Fish Seasoned Coating Mix
  • ½ cup grated Parmigiano Reggiano cheese (or other hard cheese)
  • ¼ cup Louisiana Fish Fry Products Garlic Butter sauce
  • 12 oysters in their shell

For garnish, if desired:

  • Lemon wedges
  • Freshly minced parsley

Directions

In a small bowl, combine Air Fryer Fish Coating Mix and grated Parmigiano Reggiano cheese and mix well. Shuck fresh oysters, putting the oyster meat and juices in a small bowl and the shells in another. Wash and clean the bottom cupped oyster shells. Make small rings out of tinfoil to hold the oyster shells level in the air fryer basket. Preheat air fryer to 365°F. Add tinfoil rings to the basket – only enough to fit in one layer. Add a bottom shell to each ring, add one teaspoon of Garlic Butter Sauce to each shell, add one oyster belly to each shell and top each with one tablespoon of the Air Fryer Fish Coating and cheese mixture. Place basket into air fryer and cook for 5-7 minutes, checking a few times for doneness. When the sauce is bubbling and the topping is golden brown remove oysters to a platter and garnish with chopped parsley and a squeeze of lemon.

Fresh Fruit Cobbler

Want to use fresh fruit in your cobbler? Here’s what to look for in season. Bananas, apples and lemons are available year round. In the summer try blueberries, peaches, blackberries, plums and raspberries. Come fall, go for pecans, cranberries, figs or pears. Try chestnuts in your winter cobbler. And in the spring use apricots, strawberries or rhubarb.

Non-Cherry Glazed Pork

If cherry isn’t really your jam, try Elizabeth Hunter’s Cherry-Glazed Pork Meatballs with any jam flavor to make it your own (we promise, Elizabeth won’t mind).
